Link TV - ViewChange.org

Overview
LinkTV received funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for a video website focused on bringing to light the good that was happening in the developing world. LinkTV wanted to use the power of storytelling through video to engage viewers and give them tools to help take action on these issues. Additionally, the site promoted the discovery of related content through semantic web algorithms, pulling and displaying related media for every video on the site.

The project scope include designing the entire site experience, including, information architecture and global interaction patterns.

We explored several concepts concepts and related feature level functionality that would best support the target audience (engaged citizens and influencers in the space of global development,). Iteration took place in collaboration with the client. Once an appropriate concept was prioritized, we proceeded to deliver the refined user experience via annotated wireframes and detailed visually designed mocks of key screens.

Role
My team consisted of a UX director and visual designer. I lead all concepting sessions, client presentations and guided processes with the visual designer to refine and finalize the designs. I delivered annotated wireframes illustrating core product architecture and detailed feature interactions.
